Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?
I remember the day I saw this young girl playing the violin on TV. I was so fascinated by the way she made her violin sing that I told my parents I wanted one. A week later, I had one. Over the years I was in various orchestras, and had the best violin instructor.
Overtime practicing felt more like a chore and the older I got the more I wasn’t as interested in being in the orchestra. When I broke my collar bone sophomore year that was the end of violin for me.
I never got to the point where I made my violin sing like that young girl.
